The third edition takes place in the lively Dessau Campus of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.

2026 marks a historic milestone: the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus in Dessau. As a participant, you won’t just be visiting a city; you’ll be stepping into a year-long celebration. Dessau will be buzzing and vibing with exclusive events, exhibitions, and festivals dedicated to architecture and design. This is your chance to explore the world-renowned UNESCO World Heritage sites while being immersed in an atmosphere of creative pioneer spirit.

 

Dessau is a compact and walkable city; most locations are within 10–15 minutes on foot after arrival.

After attending the school and completing the project work, students can get 2 ECTS, upon request.

Accommodation is included in the registration fee (5 nights, Sunday to Friday) at:

Breakfast is not included in the registration fee. Participants who wish to have breakfast at the hotel may book it directly at their own expense during their stay. Further details about catering during the event can be found in the section Meals During the Event.

Accommodation is available from Sunday afternoon.
Check-in times will be communicated in advance.

International participants are advised to arrive on Sunday. Accommodation will be available from Sunday afternoon
Local participants may arrive on Monday morning.If preferred, they are also welcome to request accommodation in Dessau.

What Happens on Monday

After arriving at Dessau Hauptbahnhof (Hbf), participants can reach the accommodation and campus easily on foot or by public transport.

Registration begins at midday on Monday, followed by the Welcome & School Overview session and keynote lectures on campus.

In the evening, it is planned to have a welcoming and networking event.

Further details will be shared with registered participants via email before the event.

To help you find your way easily, a campus map of Hochschule Anhalt – Dessau Campus is provided above. It shows the main buildings, seminar rooms, lecture halls, and important facilities used during the SUMMED-PV School.

Most program activities take place within short walking distance. The train station (Dessau Hbf) is located close to the campus, and key locations such as lecture rooms, laboratories, the Mensa (cafeteria), and seminar areas are clearly marked on the map.

Breakfast

Breakfast is not included in the registration fee.
Participants who wish to have breakfast at the B&B Hotel may book it directly at the hotel at their own expense. Alternatively, there are many bakeries within walking distance.

German bakeries usually open early, from 06:00 or 07:00 onwards on weekdays:

 

Lunch (to be confirmed)

Lunch is planned for Tuesday and Thursday at the Campus Café (inside the Mensa).

On Wednesday, lunch is expected to take place in Bernburg as part of the excursion programme.

Final details and confirmation will be communicated before the event.
